AI research quick breakdown:

T5, or Text-to-Text Transfer Transformer, is a Transformer based architecture that uses a text-to-text approach. Every task – including translation, question answering, and classification – is cast as feeding the model text as input and training it to generate some target text.

T5 has 11-billion parameters.

Text-to-Text

The user will input what ingredients they have and then the model will try to generate the cooking instructions for that ingredients.

UI Prototype

UI Research

The UI went through a few changes based on feedback given during, expansion on technology, and user habits. The findings concluded that users wanted a UI that allowed them to quickly access the AI features and that allowed them to see other people's recipes for inspiration. Some individuals expressed the desire to have a communication aspect but we chose to cut that feature due to possible misuse.
